Two nights of classic family and brand new short film; an open air cinema delicately placed on the picturesque banks of the Todd River.

Night One features the winners of the Lens Flair Short Film Competition and the all-time family favourite ‘Babe’, while Night Two showcases New Indigenous Cinema, including the world premiere of ‘Stories in Our Songs: Indigenous Musicians of the Northern Territory’.

Feature film ‘Stories in our Songs – Indigenous Musicians of the Northern Territory’ is a new media screen work which highlights the musical landscape of Indigenous musicians across the Territory from the Central Desert region to the Top End. The work traverses both time and space, using digital imagery, text, animations, video footage and audio illustrating the importance of music as an expression of culture and ideas.
